      We are thrilled to announce that we will be restarting our soccer sessions at The Factory in Wake Forest. We enjoyed being able to run sessions this past spring and are excited to get back into it!

       

      Our goal is to provide engaging skill-based training by placing players in an environment conducive to growth and learning.

      • Birth Years: 2008 - 2015 (if your child is at an advanced level, please indicate and we will place them properly)
      • Masks are NOT required however, they are encouraged
      • 60 minute sessions
      • Focused on technical (ball mastery, passing/receiving, dribbling, shooting, 1v1, small sided, etc.), tactical training (positioning and decision making), and speed/agility
      • Sessions are provided by Marcus Luster, one of the Triangle's top personal and small group trainers with an extensive playing background and multiple years of youth coaching experience and Marcus' team of coaches
      • $25 per session OR you can book five sessions for the price of four (5 sessions for $100 OR $20/session) - ask us about the discount code for multiple sessions

      Weather Policy:

      • As we train indoors we will plan to train regardless of rain (including thunderstorms).

      • Only in severely inclement weather will we reschedule/cancel/refund training.

      • If training is cancelled, you will received an email concerning this cancellation.

      • In the case of extreme weather that leads to multiple cancellations we will organize "make-up" sessions likely to occur on Saturdays or Sundays

    • SESSION FORMAT

      The Academy Sessions will run 60 minutes in length and generally follow the following format:

      • 20 mins: Warm-Up & Speed/Agility Work

      • 20 mins: Technical & Tactical Training Concepts

      • 20 mins: Opposed Technical & Tactical Application (live pressure with attacking and defending players)

      ​*NOTE: We will NOT train on the following dates due to the Holidays:

      • November 22, 2021 & November 24, 2021

      • December 27, 2021 & December 29, 2021

    • WAKE FOREST COACHES

      All sessions will be staffed and run by the coaches below. Here are the details in regards:

      • There will always be one coach per each group of 10 players

      • Coaches/groups will work on one-half of the field

      • Coaches will work with a particular group for the entirety of the session (a coach will spend the entire 60 minutes with the same group that particular day)

      • Coaches may switch the groups the work with on a regular basis (ex: for the 5:00pm session on Wednesdays, Coach Marcus will work with with the 2014/2015 group one week then Coach Simon may work with them the following week)

      • All groups will perform the same sessions that particular week to ensure that sessions follow Prescient Soccer philosophy and curriculum

    • WHAT PLAYERS SHOULD BRING

      • Turf shoes or indoor shoes (cleats are NOT permitted on the artificial surface)
      • A water bottle with water (due to COVID-19 restrictions the water fountains will not be available to refill water bottles)
      • Shin guards
      • A positive attitude and desire to learn

    • FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS/SPECTATORS

      • Participants must have BOTH a Liability Waiver and COVID-19 Waiver on file prior to participation
      • Parents and guardians are allowed to observe training from outside of the turf area however, there will be no interacting with your child while he or she is engaged in the program
      • Upon arriving and picking up, please do not crowd the entrance/exit to the field - your child will be released into the common area once they identify you from inside the field
